O-Shot & P-Shot
PRP Sexual Wellness
Platelet-rich plasma therapy for sexual function, sensitivity, and intimacy — a physician-directed regenerative protocol for both women and men using your body's own growth factors.
If changes in sexual function or satisfaction are affecting your confidence and quality of life, you're not alone — and there are effective, non-surgical solutions. PRP-based treatments use your body's own growth factors to restore sensation, function, and comfort.
The Science of PRP
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentration of your own platelets — the cells your body uses to initiate healing. Platelets contain over 30 bioactive growth factors including PDGF, VEGF, TGF-β, EGF, and IGF-1 — proteins that signal tissue repair, stimulate new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis), and promote nerve fiber regeneration.
When injected into targeted anatomical zones, these growth factors trigger a localized healing response — rebuilding vascular networks, restoring nerve sensitivity, and improving tissue quality from within. Unlike pharmaceutical interventions, PRP works with your body's own biology, not around it.
The O-Shot®
The Orgasm Shot (O-Shot®) delivers concentrated PRP to the clitoral complex and anterior vaginal wall — the zones most responsible for arousal, lubrication, and orgasmic response. Developed by Dr. Charles Runels, the O-Shot protocol has been performed worldwide since 2011.
Enhanced Arousal & Sensation
Growth factors stimulate nerve regeneration in the clitoral and vaginal tissue, improving sensitivity and arousal response.
Improved Lubrication
PRP promotes glandular activity and mucosal health, reducing dryness and discomfort during intimacy.
Stronger Orgasmic Response
Patients report more frequent and more intense orgasms as vascular and neural tissue regenerates over 6–12 weeks.
Mild Urinary Incontinence Relief
Periurethral PRP injection supports the urethral sphincter, reducing stress urinary leakage in many patients.
Lichen Sclerosus Support
Emerging evidence supports PRP as an adjunct therapy for vulvar lichen sclerosus alongside CO2 laser.
Vaginal Rejuvenation Combination
O-Shot pairs powerfully with HIFU or CO2 fractional laser for comprehensive vaginal rejuvenation outcomes.
Ideal For
The P-Shot®
The Priapus Shot (P-Shot®) delivers PRP directly into the corpus cavernosum and glans — the primary erectile and sensory structures. Growth factors stimulate new blood vessel formation and neural regeneration, addressing the vascular and neurological roots of erectile dysfunction.
Improved Erectile Function
PRP growth factors stimulate angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation) in penile tissue, improving blood flow and erectile quality.
Enhanced Sensitivity & Sensation
Neural growth factors promote nerve fiber regeneration, improving tactile sensitivity and pleasure response.
Increased Stamina
Improved vascular health supports sustained erections and reduced recovery time between sessions.
Peyronie's Disease Support
PRP injected into scar tissue (plaque) associated with Peyronie's disease may reduce curvature and discomfort over multiple sessions.
Penile Girth Enhancement
PRP stimulates collagen and tissue growth. Some patients experience modest girth improvement as a secondary benefit.
Combination with ED Medications
P-Shot can complement PDE5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis) — many patients report improved medication response after treatment.
Ideal For
The Treatment Process
Both O-Shot and P-Shot follow the same core protocol — same blood draw, same centrifuge preparation, same growth factor science.
Blood Draw
A small blood sample (30–60 mL) is drawn from your arm — the same as a routine lab draw. Takes under 5 minutes.
PRP Preparation
Your blood is placed in a centrifuge and spun at precise speeds to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma. This takes approximately 15 minutes.
Topical Numbing
A medical-grade topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area and allowed to take full effect — typically 20–30 minutes.
PRP Injection
The concentrated PRP is injected using a fine-gauge needle into the targeted anatomical zones. The procedure itself takes 5–10 minutes.
Immediate Recovery
No downtime. Most patients return to normal activity the same day. Mild sensitivity or swelling for 24–48 hours is normal.
Progressive Results
Growth factor activity begins immediately, but full tissue regeneration and functional improvement develops over 6–12 weeks. Results can last 12–18 months.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
- Adults experiencing sexual dysfunction not fully addressed by medications
- Patients seeking non-pharmaceutical, regenerative approaches
- Women with post-partum or postmenopausal sexual changes
- Men with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction
- Patients with Peyronie's disease seeking non-surgical options
- Those combining PRP with other intimate wellness treatments
Medical Considerations
PRP is contraindicated in patients with active infection at the injection site, platelet disorders, anticoagulant therapy, or active malignancy. A comprehensive medical history review is completed at every consultation.
Severe erectile dysfunction with a significant vascular or neurological component may require additional evaluation. We coordinate with urologists and gynecologists as appropriate to ensure comprehensive care.
