The technology
How it works — in plain English
XERF is the first multifrequency monopolar RF device, combining 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz energy so it can warm the shallow, middle, and deep layers of skin down to the SMAS — the deep support layer that holds up the jawline and cheeks. A built-in cooling system keeps the surface comfortable, so no numbing is needed. The controlled heat may prompt collagen remodeling — the skin's natural firming and rebuilding process. Personalized with 3 depth settings, 10 intensity levels, and real-time skin feedback.
What to expect
Often 1-2 sessions about 4 weeks apart (sometimes up to 3). Needle-free, no numbing, minimal planned downtime for most. Improvement builds gradually over the following weeks; maintenance may be recommended.
